• Pathways To Services: A Resource Guide to the Battle Lake Area - An information directory designed to help newcomers get settled in the area and long-time residents learn what's new. (Resource Guide)


• Newcomer Welcomes - Visits or calls, depending upon preference, welcoming newcomers to our community.


• Meet The Community - A column published monthly in the Battle Lake Review, featuring local individuals, families and organizations. A window into the diverse and interesting mix of people who call this area home.


• Community Events - Events planned for a variety of ages and interests, ranging from musical and performing arts events, to home and garden tours, to community celebrations, to contests and raffles, to dances, bonfires, parties and picnics.


• Education - Activities and forums highlighting topics of interest and relevance to our community, such as health and natural resources, and a web site featuring upcoming events and community resources.

Fulfilling Our Mission

• Although we welcome newcomers, we're not a welcome wagon business. We are a nonprofit organization that depends on donations and volunteers to fulfill our mission.


• We appreciate donations in any amount and are happy to send a receipt to those who provide a name and address.


• We value those who can contribute time and we have a number of volunteer opportunities, which range from serving on our Board, to welcoming newcomers, to helping out at events and educational activities.
